Vance, AOC Stage Dueling Michigan Rallies

Vice President JD Vance and U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-New York, campaigned across Michigan on Thursday for opposite sides in the U.S. Senate race, a show of national support from both parties.

In Monroe, Vance told more than 300 people to back Mike Rogers, R, White Lake, and called Democrat Abdul El-Sayed “a little weasel who should shut his mouth and show a little gratitude to the country that gave him everything.”

El-Sayed, campaigning with Ocasio-Cortez in Marquette, turned the insult into a Michigan-Ohio rivalry joke aimed at Vance. “Here, we might be Wildcats, we might be Spartans, we might be Wolverines, but we will never be Buckeyes,” he said.

The pair also drew crowds in Iron Mountain and at the U.P. State Fairgrounds.

U-M Plans $100M Sports Medicine Hub

The University of Michigan Board of Regents approved a $100 million sports medicine institute in south Ann Arbor, on the former Wolverine Tower site near State Street and Eisenhower Parkway.

The 100,000-square-foot Nathan and Catherine Forbes Sports Medicine Institute will bring together orthopedic surgery, rehabilitation, imaging, and athletic performance in one place. It will anchor U-M Health’s statewide sports medicine network.

Plans include 34 exam rooms, an ambulatory surgery center, urgent orthopedic care, and space for regenerative therapies, nutrition, and mental health services.

The project builds on a gift from Nathan and Catherine Forbes, co-chairs of the university’s Look to Michigan fundraising campaign. It’s scheduled to be completed in fall 2028.

Homegrown Actor Joins Crystal Lake Cast

Forty-six years after Friday the 13th hit theaters, a Detroit-born actor who found her footing in Kalamazoo has a role in the franchise’s first prequel, Peacock’s Crystal Lake.

Nancy Nagrant, a Western Michigan University graduate, plays Kay Christy, who runs the summer camp with her husband. Linda Cardellini takes on Pamela Voorhees, the role Betsy Palmer made famous in 1980.

“Kalamazoo is really the place where I sort of came into my own as an actor, actually,” said Nagrant, who honed her craft at WMU and in the local theater community.

She’s also appeared on Law & Order: SVU and The Equalizer. All eight episodes are streaming now on Peacock.

The Pentagon’s Got Their Eye on This Tech

One of the biggest indicators for forward-thinking investors is where the US government puts their money. They move first on the technology they know is going to shape the future.

First, they bet big on jet engines. Then drones. Now? It’s flying cars.  This August, the U.S. Air Force just signed a $142M deal for a flying car company building five-seater fleets. But our nation’s defense can’t stop there. Our nation’s most covert operations need smaller, personal aircrafts. And Doroni, the company positioned to lead the $100B personal eVTOL category, aims to capture this opportunity.

Their flying car, the H1-X opens the skies to all members of the military. Their SOULAI platform is so intuitive, you can pilot their aircraft after 25 hours of training. And its patented ducted fan system is designed to be safer than competitors.

This is your chance to get in at the private stage. Invest in Doroni today at $3.30 share before the share price changes after 10/22.

Morgan Stanley Calls this a $9T Opportunity

Morgan Stanley predicts that the flying car industry will grow 185,850% by 2050. In fact, they say it will reach $9 trillion in size, more than twice as valuable as today’s global car market.

And 17,000+ investors believe Doroni will lead the charge.

Designed for everyday life, Doroni’s H1-X aircraft charges like an EV, fits in two-car garages, and requires just 25 hours of training to pilot.

And while Tesla just unveiled a prototype, Doroni already unveiled a full-scale showroom model 600+ people already ordered in March.

Now, Doroni’s targeting commercial deliveries by 2028; the same year Tesla plans to just start production. This is the final week to invest Doroni at $3.30/share until the share price changes after 10/22.
